More than 300 monks have held a peaceful protest in Burma's largest city Rangoon, in the latest sign of defiance of the military government since fuel prices were doubled last month. I hope this peaceful demonstration will change things in Burma.
We all pray that this will be solved in a peaceful way.There are many of us in Sweden that prays for the monks! Gunnar

The farmhouse.(photo Gunnar Carlstedt) Bittes mother grow up at this farm with one sister and two brothers.Gösta and Rickard are still living there.Gösta is 91 and Rickard 86.We spend as much time as possible at this place.There are no animals nowadays.And there is grass all over the fields. But in the old days they had a horse,cows,pigs,hen..you name it... And they grow Rye and Wheat on the fields. Gunnar

We are living in Karlstad,Sweden.Karlstad is a medium size city with about 80.000 inhabitants.Our house is lockated 7 km from the city centre. We have a small garden and the woods are just around the corner.In the wintertime we to go cross-country-skiing and in summer we go for long walks. /Gunnar
